The commemoration of the victims of the Beslan tragedy
On 2 September 2025, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Luxembourg in Moscow, Ms Charline Vandermuntert Dispa, joined fellow diplomats in a solemn ceremony at the Beslan memorial in Moscow to honour the victims of the Beslan school tragedy.
21 years ago, one of the most horrific terrorist attacks in the Russian history took place. The harrowing three-day hostage crisis claimed the lives of 334 people, including 186 children.
The commemorative event was attended by representatives of EU Member States and other like-minded countries, who laid flowers in remembrance of the victims.
