Day of Remembrance of the victims of political repression
On 29 October 2024, Mr. Thomas Reisen, the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Russian Federation, and Mr. Frank Braun, Deputy Head of the Luxembourg Embassy in Moscow, took part in the event marking the Day of Remembrance of the victims of political repression in the Soviet Union.
Ambassadors and representatives of EU Member States and like-minded countries laid flowers at the Solovetsky Stone, which was brought from the former Gulag camp near Arkhangelsk to Moscow in 1990 to commemorate the victims of political repression.
