Working visit of the Ambassador of Luxembourg, Mr. Pierre Ferring, to Vladivostok , April 10-11, 2014.
From April 10 to 11 the Ambassador of Luxembourg, HE Mr. Pierre Ferring, visited the city of Vladivostok. The main purpose of this visit was to discuss the potential for enhance economic, scientific, cultural and tourism cooperation with the representatives of Primorsky Krai.
During his visit the Ambassador held meetings with the Administration of the city of Vladivostok presented by Mr. Alexander Yurov, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Vladimir Saprykin, Head of international relations and tourism department and Mr. Vitaly Eremenko, Head of International protocol. The Ambassador also visited the Primorsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he met its President Vladimir Brezhnev.
Furthermore, Mr. Ferring had the pleasure to visit the Far-Eastern Federal University where he had a meeting with its President Mr. Sergey Ivanets. The perspective of a bilateral partnership was discussed during the meeting.
At the end of his stay, the Ambassador met the Governor of Primorsky Krai Mr. Vladimir Miklushevsky. During their encounter it was noted that the Far East could constitute a valuable platform for strengthening economic cooperation and development between the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and the Primorsky Krai region.
