The resignation of Mr. Aldiyar Kaztayev as an Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Nur-Sultan

The Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to the Republic of Kazakhstan informs about the resignation as of 1 August 2022 of Mr. Aldiyar Kaztayev as an Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Nur-Sultan, with jurisdiction over the Pavlodar region, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Akmola regions and the city of Nur-Sultan. As an Honorary Consul, Mr. Kaztayev has strongly contributed to the development of the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Luxembourg, in particular in the areas of business, trade and culture. His efforts to fostering the human and personal links between the people of Luxembourg and Kazakhstan have been highly appreciated. Mr. Kaztayev has also played an instrumental role in founding the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, which is proving itself as successful private sector led initiative to increase the economic cooperation between the Benelux countries and Kazakhstan, including in the area of environmental friendly technologies and social sustainability. Mr Kaztayev cited personal reasons for his resignation. The Ambassador of Luxembourg to Kazakhstan, H.E. Mr. Georges Faber, thanks Mr. Kaztayev for his outstanding efforts over seven years to promote the relations between Luxembourg and Kazakhstan and wishes him health, prosperity and success in his future endeavours.
