The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr Etienne Schneider, paid a visit to Moscow from March 31st till April 4th, 2012

During his visit, Minister Schneider met with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mrs Elvira Nabiullina. During their meeting, the current issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed. An important topic for the development of trade relations between both countries, namely the establishment of a direct air link between Moscow and Luxembourg-City was also discussed.  

The Minister of Economy also had a number of high level meetings with Russian businessmen from the economic and financial sector as well as a number of representatives of Russian companies active in Luxembourg.
