The Minister of Culture of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Mrs Octavie Modert, paid a visit to Moscow from March 12th- 14th upon the invitation of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Mr Alexander Avdeev. During their working meeting, the Ministers convened to deepen the cultural relations and to organise regular cultural exchanges in Russia and in Luxembourg in order to deepen the excellent bilateral relations between both countries.

The delegation of the Minister, which included the Director of the Luxembourg National Library, Mrs Monique Kieffer, and the Director of Promotion Agency “Music:lx”, Mr Patrice Hourbette, met with various representatives of the Library of Foreign Literature of Rudomino, the Russian State Library, the Centre for Contemporary Art “Winzavod” and different concert agencies.
