Technical Conference Astron, November 27th, 2013
On November 27, 2013 the Embassy of Luxembourg in Moscow hosted the “International Technical Conference Astron”. The conference was dedicated to the design of light steel structures as well as the questions of standardization and norms. Among the participants were the leading specialists, design engineers, experts of project documentation from Russia and Europe.
The speakers were Mr. Lotsmanov, First Vice Chairman of the Council for technical regulation and standardization from the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Prof. Jaspart from the University of Liège in Belgium, Prof. Vediakov, Dr. in Engineering and Director of the Research Institute of V.A. Koucherenko in Russia, Prof. Tusnin from the Moscow State Construction Institute in Russia, Prof. Werner from the Bauhaus University of Weimar in Germany, and the Astron Chief Design Engineer Mr. Belica from Luxembourg.
Astron has been designing light steel structures for over 50 years. The first buildings were imported to Russia from Luxembourg in the early 1990s. Today the buildings are produced in Astron’s plant in Yaroslavl with the use of Russian raw materials.
