Minister Jeannot Krecké participated in the 8th Joint Commission UEBL – Russia in Moscow, 14 to 16 November 2011

The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Mr Jeannot Krecké, participated at the 8th Joint Commission on economic cooperation between Russia and the Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union (UEBL) in Moscow on November 15th, 2011. During this Commission the current status of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and cooperation in investment was discussed. The 1st Sub-Commission Luxembourg-Russia was created in the presence of both co-Presidents, Mr Alexander Avdeev, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation and Minister Jeannot Krecké. |
The opportunities for cooperation between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Russia in the sectors of finance, steel, innovation and the automotive industry were discussed. During his visit in Moscow,
a joint declaration between Luxembourg and Russia in the context of the Partnership for modernization of Russia was signed.
During his stay in Moscow, Mr Jeannot Krecké had a number of business meetings of the financial and the communication technologies sectors.
