Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergey Ryabkov, meets with Luxembourg Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Mr. Gaston Stronck
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov hosted a working lunch on August 4 in honor of Gaston Stronck, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, upon completion of his diplomatic assignment in Russia.
During their conversation they examined some issues in Russian-Luxembourg cooperation, and discussed certain international problems. Both parties noted with satisfaction that friendly ties between Russia and Luxembourg, built on mutual respect and consideration for each other’s interests, have been on an ascendant trajectory in recent years and have got a positive new impulse resulting from the working visit of Luxembourg Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker to the Russian Federation last August.
