On May 31st, the ceremonial finish of the 10th edition of the "Eurotour – 2012" took place on Red Square’s Vasili Descent. Having left Luxembourg on May 25th , 2012, 85 bikers completed a 3000km journey which led them over Dresden, Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Velikie Luki and Istra to Moscow.

Upon their arrival, the Eurobikers were greeted by representatives of various Russian motorbike clubs. Welcome speeches were held by Mr. Vladimir Pavlov, Director for high performance sports development at the Sports Ministry of the Russian federation, Mr.Vadim Razumovskiy, Head of Benelux Division of the First European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr Jean Claude Kugener, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg to the Russian Federation, Mr. Michel Türk, President of the Eurobiker association and Mr. Aleksandr Lunkin, President of the Russian Motorcycle Federation.

During their 3 days stay in Moscow, the Eurobikers laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Gardens, visited the Kremlin and its armory and watched a performance of the Black Sea Fleet’s song and dance ensemble at the Theatre of the Russian Army.

In accordance with the Eurotour’s charitable aims, the participants paid a visit to the Donskoy Monastery with children from the Kaliasinsky children’s home and handed over a check worth 3000 euros.
