The Chargé d'affaires of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the Russian Federation, Mr. Jean-Claude Kugener, met with the Deputy Procurator General, Mr.Alexander Zvyagintsev. During the meeting was signed an agreement on cooperation between the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The document provides the cooperation in crime control, including its organized forms, terrorism, corruption, drug and psychotropic substances trafficking, human trafficking, money laundering, acquired by criminal methods, as well as other types of crime, dangerous for the society . The parties also agreed to execute the agreement on legal assistance in criminal matters and extradition.
