Opening hours of the Consular section (documents' reception): 

Monday-Tuesday: 09.00 - 12.00 a.m.

Wednesday: closed
Thursday-Friday: 09.00 - 12.00 a.m.

The consulate is closed on all Russian holidays.



Starting 15 June 2020, the Consulate will resume its activities by appointment only and following the sanitary rules in place, except for the C type Schengen visa activity, which will remain suspended until further notice. 

Visitors have to contact the Consulate to fix an appointment by email:

Wearing a face mask and gloves is mandatory when visiting the Consulate.

Schengen is a small village in the south-eastern part of Luxembourg on the borders of the Moselle where the borders of Luxembourg, Germany and France meet.

On June 14th, 1985, the “Schengen Treaty” was signed in this village where a European Museum was opened on June 13th, 2010, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Schengen Treaty in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Grand-Duke and the Grand-Duchess of Luxembourg.
