Schengen Schengen is a small village in the south-eastern part of Luxembourg on the borders of the Moselle where the borders of Luxembourg, Germany and France meet. On June 14th, 1985, the “Schengen Treaty” was signed in this village where a European Museum was opened on June 13th, 2010, on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Schengen Treaty in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Grand-Duke and the Grand-Duchess of Luxembourg.
